What Is a Part Exchange?

  • A part-exchange involves using your existing vehicle as a part payment for your new motorhome. Rather than owning two vehicles at once, or selling it separately, it becomes one single process and leaves you to enjoy your new purchase at a great price. Depending on your model, your old vehicle can serve as a deposit for your new motorhome, and sometimes even reduces your monthly finance payments.
  • When considering part exchanges, it is important to do your research. You can discuss with us to find out how much your vehicle is worth.
  • When you are ready, remember that you’ll need to: Check the service history – vehicles that have been regularly serviced and well-maintained will generally have a higher retained value. If yours hasn’t been serviced frequently or you’ve lost the service book, speak to us for further advice.
  • Fix any damage – Depending on how much it will increase the vehicles part exchange value this might not be worth the money, but it is worth speaking to us so we can give you our professional opinion.

Bring all relevant paperwork and keys – This includes your V5C document (logbook), current MOT certificate and any invoices for servicing on the vehicle.
